Visualization Control
Here you are given some control of how a topic or map is displayed to you. By default the browsing will be in text mode. Other modes can be activated here and remain active until the end of the session. After activation of a visualization mode you will return to the browse view.
Text Mode: Activate In this mode all topic information is organized into two columns: The first contains the topic with its types and instances. The second column holds the associations in which this topic either plays a role or is a role. These associations are organized by association types to make the output more readable.

Below the associations we add a list of those topics which are of the same kind as the focal topic.

SVG Mode: Activate In this mode the server also renders the environment of the topic graphically as an SVG document. For this it uses the associations the topic is involved in. Depending on the nature of the topic the graph will be either very rich and cluttered, rather thin or something in the middle. Currently there is no way the user can control this interactively. To avoid too much clutter, role labels are omitted. Moving your mouse over nodes will provide the full name as a popup, and clicking on nodes navigates to that topic.

Please note that SVG support in some/most browsers is quite...lacking in quality. IE fails completely, Firefox 1.5 is somewhat buggy, Firefox 2.x is less buggy but in a different way and so on.

At the bottom the display the normal text mode rendering is provided as well.
